I FEEL BETTER!!! Finally, after 3 ½ weeks, I feel better. No pain, no fever, no malaise, no itching… all gone. My lab results are finally all headed in the correct direction. That was the sickest I have ever been. For the last twelve days I have truly just hung out and rested at my daughters. IMG_5598I visited with family and even stopped by the hospital to say Hi. And I am ready to return to our boat and our adventure. This time I will bring DEET and more protective clothing to guard myself from the dreaded mosquito. I do not want to go through that (or worse) again.

While here I got a few supplies to bring back including Ginger spice and an oven thermometer my daughter-in-law sent!

I was also able to access my photo album from our first sailing adventure in 1985-6. So I can add some pictures to that blog post chain too.

IMG_5563And since the internet WiFi actually works here, I was able to upload a video I made over a month ago of a tour of Encore our home while we sail.

We fly out tomorrow and will re-provision and clean up the boat and grab a nice weather window to sail north from Puerto Vallarta to Mazatlan. Our goal is to get to the Sea of Cortez and enjoy the Baja gulf -sailing, snorkeling and swinging from our anchor for a while.
